Volunteer with Emerge Broward at Feeding South Florida '26

Join Emerge Broward as we roll up our sleeves to make a tangible impact in our community! We are heading to the Feeding South Florida Sorting and Packing Facility for a hands-on volunteer experience dedicated to ending hunger in our region.

Feeding South Florida is the leading hunger-relief organization in the area, and they rely on dedicated volunteers like us to ensure that donated food safely reaches the families who need it most.

Every box we pack helps bridge the gap for thousands of individuals and families across South Florida. This is a great opportunity to give back, meet fellow Emerge Broward members, and see the logistics of hunger relief in action.

⏰ Time: 8:30am - 11:30am EDT  (Please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in and orientation)
📍 Location: Feeding South Florida Warehouse
2501 SW 32nd Ter, Pembroke Park, FL 33023

👕 Volunteer Role:

During this shift, our team will work together in the warehouse to:

• Inspect donated food items for quality and safety.

• Sort products into specific categories.

• Repack goods into distribution-ready boxes for community partners.

🧢 Warehouse Attire:

• Closed-toe shoes are mandatory (sneakers or boots).

• Comfortable, casual clothing (warehouse temperatures can vary).

• No crop tops, short shorts, or heels

• small crossbody bags or fanny packs only – no large bags or valuables

• A positive attitude and a pair of helping hands!

🚫 Note: Outside water bottles are not permitted in the warehouse, but bottled water will be provided.
