Committees
All members can join a committee!
Emerge Broward is comprised of four autonomous committees based on the pillars of the organization as outlined in the mission statement: IDENTIFY, CONNECT, DEVELOP and ENGAGE. The purpose of the four committees is to plan and implement various events and opportunities for the general membership base. We also have a PR committee focused on promoting the organization in the community.
IDENTIFY
The Identify Committee is responsible for membership recruitment and retention. This includes promoting Emerge Broward in the community, hosting quarterly Meet and Greet socials, hosting additional membership cultivation events, conducting ongoing outreach to targeted groups and businesses, and coordinating membership renewals.
CONNECT
The Connect Committee plans and implements regularly scheduled events for members that provide fun and interactive social experiences and meaningful networking opportunities with a unique learning component.
DEVELOP
The Develop Committee provides on-going, quality educational opportunities that target the development of skills and knowledge necessary to achieve personal and professional excellence.
ENGAGE
The Engage Committee provides members access to charitable and/or community based organizations throughout Broward County in an effort to build community trusteeship and improve the quality of life for our community.
PR
The PR Committee develops and implements strategies focused on promoting the organization in the community, advertising upcoming opportunities, and recognizing members.
