Together We Care – Park Day with Seniors

 Date: Saturday, August 1, 2026

 Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM

 Location: Regents Park of Sunrise, 9711 W Oakland Park Blvd, Sunrise, FL 33351

 Directions: Regents Park of Sunrise is located on the north side of Oakland Park Blvd., just east of Nob Hill Road. Look for the Westchester sign. Please note there are two separate facilities on the premises; ensure you go to Regents Park (the building to the right and rear) rather than Westchester

 Event Description:

Join Emerge Broward for an afternoon of giving back to those who built the foundation of our society as we participate in a nursing home visit organized by One Beautiful World. Together, we will help arrange and deliver flowers, play bingo, give manicures, and, most importantly, listen to the stories of these incredible individuals.

This service day is a wonderful opportunity to give back, connect with fellow young professionals, and make a tangible impact for the residents. It will be an afternoon of real gratitude and connection.

 About One Beautiful World:

Since 2009, One Beautiful World, a Broward-based nonprofit, has been nurturing children’s growth by providing them with physical, educational, and character-building opportunities. Their mission is to foster cultural awareness and social responsibility, with an emphasis on love and respect for oneself, others, and the environment. To achieve these goals, the organization hosts a variety of events, with monthly nursing home visits comprising an important part of their effort to Help the Elderly.
