Join Emerge Broward as we volunteer for Water Matters Day, Broward County’s largest environmental conservation event!

Water Matters Day is an action-packed, in-person event filled with interactive educational displays, engaging booths, food trucks, children’s activities, and a special tree giveaway exclusively for Broward residents.

As an Emerge Broward volunteer, you'll be a key part of the Tree Giveaway team, helping to plant the seeds for a greener future. Whether you're a morning go-getter or prefer an afternoon of volunteering, we have a shift that’s perfect for you!

Event Information:
📆 Date: Saturday, March 14
📍 Location: Tree Tops Park (3900 SW 100th Ave, Davie, FL 33328)
Shift Options:
● Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
● Afternoon Shift: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Note: A pre-event email will be sent out a couple days before the event to those registered containing any additional relevant information for the event.

📎 Event Paperwork: Once registered, please complete these steps:

📋 Volunteer Registration: Fill out the event organizers’ registration form
● For question 7 (Interest Area), select “Tree Giveaway (placing trees into cars)”
● For question 13 (Special Skills...), type “Emerge Broward” into the Other box


✍️ Workday Liability Waiver: Sign the liability waiver before event day.
● Waivers need a wet signature (hand signed) or a PDF timestamp. You may bring the waiver with you on event day or email it to WaterMatters@broward.org.
● Broward County government employees do not need a waiver
