Toy Distribution & Resource Fair - 6th Annual Hope for the Holidays Event

Join Emerge Broward in supporting the Broward Healthy Start Coalition at the 6th Annual Hope for the Holidays Toy Distribution & Resource Fair. We’ll be assisting with a variety of activities to ensure children and their families enjoy a festive, meaningful, and memorable holiday experience.

About the Organizer:
Broward Healthy Start Coalition’s mission is “to promote the health and well-being of women, infants and families to achieve a successful pregnancy and a healthy start in life.”
As the leader in maternal and child health policy and programming in Broward County, the Coalition receives funding from the Florida Department of Health and administers the Healthy Start system — managing services for pregnant women and children up to age three, and overseeing quality and assurance programs within our community.

🧸 What to Expect

Our volunteers can expect to assist in roles such as:
✔ Photo booth support
✔ Toy distribution
✔ Registration & check-in
✔ Line management and crowd flow
✔ General event support

Families can look forward to a festive day filled with music, community vendors, parent and infant giveaways, and toys for children of all ages (children must be present to receive toys).

👕 Attire & Parking

• Attire: Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are recommended. Holiday-themed outfits are welcome but not required.

• Parking: On-site parking will be available at the Urban League. Please follow posted signage upon arrival for designated volunteer parking areas.
