Roll up your sleeves with Emerge Broward and Habitat for Humanity for a hands-on opportunity to give back, make a real impact, and connect with other young professionals!

The build will take place at BBI Village, a 20-townhome Habitat community being developed to benefit hard-working families in need of a decent, affordable place to live in Broward County. It is paving the way for the next generation in the evolution of affordable housing!

📆 Date and Time:

Saturday, February 7 from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM

🕖 Arrival Time:

Please arrive at 7:15 AM to check in, grab your name badge, and be ready for the 7:30 AM Morning Circle, where we’ll cover safety tips and construction instructions for the day.

🚗 Parking Instructions:

Please park in the DD’s & CitiTrends Shopping Plaza in the designated area closest to the gas station.

🔨 Task:

TBD. Training and supervision will be provided by Habitat staff; no experience required.

🎒 What to Bring & Wear:

  1. Comfortable clothing that can get dirty
  2. Long pants or shorts and closed-toe shoes (no sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, or dress shoes)
  3. Hat and sunglasses recommended
  4. Fanny pack or small bag for personal items (no on-site storage available)
  5. Optional: Your own work gloves (they’ll have used gloves and disposable ones available)

The following items will be provided for you:
✅ Personal protective equipment
✅ Tools
✅ Bottled water
✅ Snacks during a mid-morning break
