🏠 Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Build Day

Join us for a meaningful morning of hands-on service as we support Habitat for Humanity of Broward County at the BBI Village Site. Volunteers will work together to support an active build project and help create safe, affordable housing for families in our community.

8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Please arrive by 7:45 AM for check-in and orientation.

🚗 Parking

Please park in the DD’s & CitiTrends Shopping Plaza, in the designated area closest to the gas station (see attached map for reference).

🖌 Task for the Day

TBD – Tasks will be assigned on-site based on project needs and volunteer experience.

👷 Age Requirements

• Volunteers must be 16 years or older

• Volunteers must be 18+ to participate in roofing, ladder work, or use of power tools

🎒 What to Bring & Wear

• Comfortable clothing that can get dirty

• Long pants or shorts and closed-toe shoes
  (No sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, or dress shoes)

• Hat and sunglasses (recommended)

• Fanny pack or small bag for personal items
  (No on-site storage available)

• Optional: Your own work gloves
  (Used gloves and disposable gloves will be available)

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• All necessary tools

• Bottled water

• Snacks during a mid-morning break
