Team Build with Habitat for Humanity & Emerge Broward

Join Emerge Broward as we roll up our sleeves and help build a brighter future with Habitat for Humanity! This hands-on volunteer opportunity allows you to make a tangible impact in our community while getting to know other young professionals.

🕖 Arrival Time:
Please arrive at 7:15 AM to check in, grab your name badge, and be ready for the 7:30 AM Morning Circle, where we’ll cover safety tips and construction instructions for the day.

A shuttle or walk-in access from parking will be arranged (map attached).

🔨 Task:
Wall furring — no experience required! Habitat staff will provide training and supervision.

👕 What to Wear & Bring:

• Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty

• Long pants or shorts and closed-toe shoes (sneakers okay – no sandals, flip-flops, or dress shoes)

• Hat and sunglasses recommended

• A fanny pack or small bag to keep essentials on you (no on-site storage available)

• Optional: your own work gloves
