Join us for an evening of karaoke, ice cream, and community as we welcome the children and families of SOS Children’s Village, a unique foster care neighborhood in Coconut Creek that provides a safe and loving home for kids and teens in need.

🏡 About SOS Children’s Villages

• SOS Children’s Villages is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children around the globe who have experienced neglect, abuse, or crisis.

• The village in Coconut Creek was opened in 1993 to care for children who were removed from their families and placed into foster care in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. It is a neighborhood of 13 single-family homes with full-time foster parents, offering stability and nurturing care for the 70+ children and teens living there.

🍦 What to Expect

An evening of singing, smiles, and sweet treats — all made more meaningful by your presence and support.

🗓 Event Schedule

• 5:30 PM – Volunteer arrival and setup

• 6:00 PM – Families arrive and ice cream serving begins

• 6:15 PM – Karaoke kicks off

• 8:00 PM – Last call for karaoke + ice cream

• 8:30 PM – Wrap-up and clean-up

🙋 Join Us!

• Register to volunteer and take part in the festivities alongside the children and families.

• Donate (optional):
  If you're able, donate to help cover the cost of ice cream and karaoke. Any extra funds will be sent to SOS Children’s Village to support their mission.

ℹ️ Other Important Info

• 🚗 Parking: Parking is located within the village. From there, you'll take a short walk to the community center. There will be signs to guide you.

• 👕 What to Wear: This event is casual attire. Please wear your Emerge Broward T-shirt if you have one to help kids and families identify volunteers easily.
