Hunger Action Month with Feeding South Florida

September is Hunger Action Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness of the hunger crisis nationwide. Feeding South Florida works to make food available and accessible to those who need it most. Volunteers play a vital part in daily operations by helping to sort through donated food and ensuring that it is safe to go back out to the community. Feeding South Florida depends on volunteer help in the warehouse. Please join EB as we volunteer with Feeding South Florida! 

Hunger Action Month with Feeding South Florida
Date: Saturday, September 30th
Time: 8:30-11:30 am (Please plan on arriving 15 minutes early for check-in and orientation.)
Location: 2501 SW 32nd Terrace Pembroke Park, FL 33023

ATTIRE: Please wear comfortable clothing such as t-shirts, shorts, leggings or jeans (NO short shorts or crop tops). Please do not bring purses or backpacks. A crossbody bag or fanny pack are acceptable.
*CLOSED TOED SHOES must be worn.

Emerge Broward members will volunteer by assisting with inspecting, sorting, and repacking of donated food.
