Volunteering at Special Olympics Swimming Competition

Date: Saturday, July 18, 2026

Time: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Location: Pompano Beach Aquatic Center, 820 NE 18th Ave, Pompano Beach, FL 33060

Parking: Complimentary parking is available around the venue

Attire: Wear something that you can comfortably move around in. T-shirts will be also provided for volunteers to wear during the event

Event Description:

Join Emerge Broward for a day of volunteering with Special Olympics Florida at their 2026 Broward County Swimming Games! Together, we'll bring supportive energy and ensure the event's success as we assist with the following activities:

• Timing the races
• Escorting the athletes
• The award ceremony
• Helping with lunch

Volunteers are also encouraged to help with other tasks as needed and help cheer the athletes on to victory! We will also receive a complimentary Special Olympics T-shirt and lunch.

This service day is an amazing opportunity to give back, connect with fellow young professionals, and make a postitive impact for the athletes competing.
