Professional Bio
Nile Fortner is a committed, creative, and collaborative Multimedia Journalist. Nile is an FAU December 2019 graduate with a bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism and he has been and continues to be a writer for various publications and platforms such as the Sun-Sentinel, Miami New Times, New Pelican Newspaper, The Parklander Magazine, Boca Raton Observer Magazine, Fort Lauderdale Magazine, SFLStyle, Atlantic Current, Embrace Magazine, MIA/Legacy, and more.
He's also done a podcast series with a site called BocaFirst interviewing Boca Raton artists, entrepreneurs, and discussing those in the community. Along with doing another podcast with a site called Cinephellas, We Seen't It, and he also contributed with Evan Snow on the Choose954 Podcast.
Nile has also worked in Public Relations with the Gab Group/HouseofGabTV.
Also, he's done and continues to do social media management such as for Venice Magazine, GraceArtsFL, and Yacht Life TV.
As Develop Committee Co-Chair for Emerge Broward, he hopes to inform, inspire, and help evolve the community culture the way he's done and continues to do. Nile hopes to help in any way possible when it comes to Emerge Broward and he's been a fan since the moment he's joined.
When Nile isn't watching his favorite movies like The Dark Knight, you can find him on social media @nile_fortner, and eating warm, soft-to-the-bite chocolate chip cookies.
