Developing Young Professionals, Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders
Emerge Broward (EB), a program of Leadership Broward Foundation, Inc. (LBF), is a program for young professionals ages 21-35. EB promotes leadership and personal development through networking, community involvement, and educational opportunities.Founded in 2007, EB’s mission is “to identify the emerging leaders and young professionals of Broward County, connect them with each other and current leaders in the community, develop their ability to serve as community trustees, and engage them within the community.”
The program is comprised of four autonomous committees:
Beginning with only 60 founding members, the organization has grown to more than 800 active members within only three years. EB activities include networking socials, educational seminars, done-in-a-day community service projects, and much more!

Updates:Emerge Broward Launches New Facebook Fan Page!
Emerge Broward launched its new Facebook Fan Page on July 26th. We
will be taking down the "friend" and "group" pages on August 26th, please "like" our new fan page. By
"liking" our new fan page, you will receive all of the up to date news
on events, happenings and photos, as well as read our weekly newsletter
and media postings, watch videos and more!
Also, if you would

Did You Know...
In 2009, Emerge Broward held more than 125 events and meetings for our members! That's at least one event every three days!
In 2009, our active membership has grown from 450 to more than 800!
Leadership Broward recently hired a new Director of Development, Suzanne Higgins!
