Emerge Broward (EB), a program of Leadership Broward Foundation, Inc. (LBF), is a program for young professionals ages 21-35.  EB promotes leadership and personal development through networking, community involvement, and educational opportunities.  Founded in 2007, EB’s mission is “to identify the emerging leaders and young professionals of Broward County, connect them with each other and current leaders in the community, develop their ability to serve as community trustees, and engage them within the community.” 

The program is composed of four autonomous committees:

IDENTIFY
CONNECT
DEVELOP
ENGAGE

Beginning with only 60 founding members, the program has grown to more than 500 active members within only four years. EB activities include networking socials, educational seminars, done-in-a-day community service projects, and much more!

Please join us for Emerge Broward's biggest event of the year - our annual Leadership Summit!  We'll kick it off on Friday, January 20th at 6:30 p.m. with a networking Meet & Greet event with all of our sponsors.  On Saturday, January 21st we'll have the main event with speakers and break out sessions.  The entire event will take place at the Museum of Discovery and Science.

The Keynote Speaker for this year's Summit will be Jon Ferrando, Executive Vice President, General Council and Secretary at AutoNation!  Other speakers include Jennifer O'Flannery Anderson, Terry Conover, Dr. Jene Kapela, Kevin Lawhon, George Pincus and Michael Yormark.

Did You Know... In 2010, Emerge Broward held more than 140 events and meetings for our members! That's at least one event every three days! In 2010, our active membership grew to more than 500! We are looking to make presentations in front of organizations that have a large group of young professionals.  If you have a company in mind, and would like to help promote Emerge Broward, please contact Susan Climan.
